What Is A Bartender?
A bartender is the creator of beverages, the creator of cocktails and the watchdog of the bar. They are the ones who make sure the drinks are flowing and the party’s going. Bartenders whip up classic cocktails like the Cosmopolitan, Manhattan, Scotch on the Rocks, Old Fashioned and Mojitos. They also serve beer and wine. But they also have an important responsibility to make sure no one’s drinking too much. In countries like the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and Sweden, bartenders are legally obligated to refuse more alcohol to customers who are already drunk.
