What is the Fixed Star Algol ?

The Fixed Star Algol, also known as the Demon Star, is a fixed star located in the constellation Perseus. It is located approximately ninety-five light years away from Earth and has been known since ancient times due to its remarkable brightness. Algol is actually a triple star system composed of two stars in close orbit around one another, their orbits overlapping periodically so that the system alternates in brightness with the smaller, dimmer companion passing in front of the larger, brighter companion. This variable brightness was considered by many cultures to be a sign of the star’s peculiar power, and it was said that Algol was able to foretell events or influence them. As a result, Algol has been the subject of many legends of Demonization and cultural myths across the world. In modern astronomy, Algol is known for its connection with eclipsing binary stars and has led to the development of an understanding of the motion of these types of stars. It is also used widely in astronomy to calculate the size and waxing and waning of the moon. Controlling ones self from doing dumb and stupid things help prevent the energy of Algol from manifesting in one’s life. Controlling ones speech is one of the lessons of Algol. Living in Saturn’s light will help negate a lot of Karma from Algol.
