The zodiac is an area of astrology that studies the relationship between the positions of the stars, planets, sun and moon in relation to the time of one’s birth. Used in various cultures for thousands of years, the zodiac attempts to provide insight into personal characteristics, likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses, potential compatibility with others and even possible predictions of the future. The one thing that no one talks about, these predictions are also based on free-will. These are all based on the position of the planets, stars, moon, and sun relative to the time and location of one’s birth. Although some people may find comfort in the knowledge of their zodiac sign, it must be noted that the practice is not scientifically accepted due to lack of objective testing. However, many people enjoy the study of the zodiac and as such it has certainly become an intriguing subject over the years.
