Alexander The Great
Hellenization is the adoption of Greek (Macedonian) culture, religion, language and identity by non-Greeks. In the ancient period, the conquered people were required to accept the Greek (Macedonian) culture. Alexander the Great was a very learned man who spent three years in his youth with Socrates and other Astrologer Priests of the time. He was always curious about other cultures of the conquered people. If he accepted them as good, they would remain part of the conquered peoples culture. Most of the areas that were conquered by Alexander the Great accepted the Greek (Macedonian) Culture or were killed. Hard thing to say, but that was life back then. Either assimilate or die, period. You had no choice. Astrology was spread by Alexander the Great’s conquests throughout the region when the Astrologer Priests moved into these areas to help spread the Greek (Macedonian) Culture.
Cleopatra Was Greek (Macedonian)
Cleopatra reigned for nearly thirty years. Cleopatra held the position of co-ruler in ancient Egypt. The family kept the Kingdom together by using a closed loop system of family only. She worked alongside with her father to learn the ropes of governing a Kingdom. Later, this same type of management style was used with her two younger brothers and finally her own son. Greeks were a proud people and Cleopatra was part of a long line of Greeks (Macedonian) that had roots in the Macedonian rulers that were established by Ptolemy, a former general under Alexander the Great. This began during the conquest of Egypt in 332 B.C.
Queen of Egypt
Born approximately 70 B.C., Cleopatra was a daughter of Ptolemy XII, also called “Auletes”. Possessing a sharp intellect and extensive education, Cleopatra was proficient in multiple languages and exerted her dominance as the primary ruler throughout all three of her co-rulers. Her ability to manipulate people thru love affairs and strategic alliances with the Roman leaders Julius Caesar and Mark Antony showed her genius. She used her reputed exotic beauty and enchanting allure to make a difference in history for her Kingdom of Egypt. That is her legacy in history. She was also a strong supporter of the Library of Alexandria where the past history was stored. Yes, there was an Astrologer Priest in her court that she would consult regarding Astrology on the influences of the times when important decisions needed to be made. Remember, all rulers throughout history used Astrologers to help time their decisions or conquests. Ronald Reagan even used one when he was President of the United States to help end the Cold War with Russia.
A lot of the old Astrological Works came from the original Library of Alexandria. So we have a mix mash of culture influencing the writers of the times with no real definition (dictionary) of what each word or symbol meant when it was written down. Translations were not a simple Google app. It required multiple people to translate these scrolls from multiple sources both Persian, Arab and Greek (Macedonian) . They were also translated into Latin which was the primary language of Rome.
Mold Problems In The Ancient World
One of the biggest problems with Papyrus and Animal Skins is that mold will grow on them in humid climates and destroy them. Egypt, not being a humid climate is one of the reasons why these scrolls survived. The keeper of the Library of Alexandria was always having his staff copy the moldy manuscripts to new papyrus so the documents could survive. Mold is one of the reasons that other areas of the ancient world had little to survive in the way of written documents to the present day. Mold is Natures’ way of Recycling the World.
Their Version of Scrolls
The new writers or translators wrote their version of what they saw on the old scrolls in this library. Did they make mistakes in coping the originals? The answer is yes. People, even today cannot decipher the old cuneiform tablets of the Mesopotamian Era. This time in history, very few people could read or write is an important thing to remember. If the writer was having problems with their spouse and was having a bad day, did this influence how it was written that day. I guarantee you, look back at some of the stuff you as a person of today have written when you were mad or upset with your spouse.
Göbekli Tepe
Back to the Flat Earth Belief System, how did they come up with this system, or was it given to them by a prior civilization that was destroyed in again approximately 20,000 BC or second time around in 12,500 BC. Göbekli Tepe is the world’s oldest example of a temple built at the end of the last Ice Age, approximately 12,500 years ago. This is long before Mesopotamia and their Babylonian Astrology Systems. Look at the circle in the above picture, they were trying to show us how Heliocentric Astrology is a Science that manifests into energy. I am sure, they will uncover older ancient temples deep in the Earth’s Crust as time move on. Yes, they will also find these remnants in other parts of the world also. Look at South America! Stone monuments everywhere because they survive the ravages of time from the Great Recycler “Mold”.
Babylonian Astrology
Babylonian Astrology was based upon the Fixed Stars they saw in the skies at night. Babylonian astrology spread throughout the areas. There have been multiple cuneiform tablets found detailing lunar and solar eclipses of the time. Numerous cuneiforms detailing things such as lunar eclipses and solar eclipses based on the Babylonian system have been found a lot of the old ruins of Hittite, Akkadian, and Assyrian cities. Cuneiforms were also found that had etched in markings of the Planets of the Universe. This is a Star Based System but still a Flat Earth form of Astrology due to people believing you could fall off the Earth if you sailed too far out into the ocean.
If we move on, you will see that this form of Astrology was spread by the Greeks as they conquered new lands by Alexander the Great. The Greek Astrologers added the four elements and their importance to Astrology. We still have a Flat Earth Astrology but now with elements.
Even the famous Greek astrologer Ptolemy who roamed around Egypt in about 100 AD was a Flat Earth Astrologer. He did write several books about Flat Earth Astrology called the Tetrabiblos. His texts were used by the Europeans and Arab Astrologers for a 1000 years or more. Some Astrologers still read his Flat Earth Astrology Books today.
Roman Astrology
After the Romans conquered the Greeks, they assimilated the Greek Astrology texts that were written. They changed some of the names. (Incomplete)
Heliocentric Astrology
This started to change when Copernicus in the 1500’s discovered his heliocentric view of the universe. He died before he could prove his Heliocentric view of the Universe. His discovery was that the Earth circled around the Sun. His theory was not accepted till Galileo and Kepler proved him right in the 1700’s. Now we have a new system called Heliocentric Astrology.
But we still have a Flat Earth Astrology System that needed to be converted to a Round Earth System. My question, how did they do this conversion, is it really accurate yet? We really did not have good computer programing until the 1990’s. Many Astrologers are having an approximate 70% rate of accuracy in predictions due to this incomplete system. Have we given Astrology its just due. By the way Sidereal was Flat Earth Astrology until the discovery of Heliocentric. It is also incomplete due to certain flaws inherent in distance to the Stars and where does Aries really begin. If you start at Earth, draw a line straight out to Aries, it is approximately 123.5 light-years. Straight line shot ends where? Is it here, is it there? Where is beginning of Aries? No one knows, so it is impossible to be 100% accurate. We know that “History Repeats Itself” so we have a starting point for predictions during a specific time period of Planetary History.
In Summation, the beginnings of Astrology in Göbekli Tepe, the Mesopotamia and Babylonian Eras is very vague unless this Science was passed down to them from a prior civilization that was disrupted by a cataclysmic event in the Earth’s history. That is why we find cuneiforms made of stone with Star Constellations and Planets etched into them. The survivors know that paper or wood would be destroyed over time by mold but stone would not. Example: Survivors built Pyramids all over the world to show the way to the Universe’s energy patterns that affect all human beings everyday. Prior civilizations are being discovered the deeper we dig into the Earth’s crust.
These events would have been in approximately 20,000 BC or 12,500 BC at the end of the last Ice Age. The survivors of the prior civilizations would have tried to save this information for the future of the new civilization knowing that “History Always Repeats Itself”. This is why Astrology is a Science that shows how energy is manifested over and over again thru the action of the Planets and Stars of the Universe.
